Breaking the Silence

Kansas City from the top of City Market.

Kansas City from the top of City Market.

Nothing profound to say, but I had to write something just to unload the pressure I’ve felt mounting in the last few months where I have carefully avoided posting to this blog. Why careful avoidance? Who knows? I’m sure it has something to do with wanting my first “genuine” post from Kansas City to be perfect. And in my inability to reach perfection, I avoided.  It’s my pattern. I’m working to change that, though. It’s a very slow process, but God is faithful! I’m taking a major plunge tonight by writing this.  I’ll still work to avoid a “more is more” kind of jibber jabbering blog, but tonight I’m welcoming October and Fall and all of the nostalgia and longing this time of year brings, with a simple proclamation to make some noise.
